Motor Control Engineering Toolkit
Calculators, formulas and practical tools for PMSM & BLDC engineers.
Why use an engineering calculator?
Motor-control math is easy to get subtly wrong — a missed √2, a pole-pair factor, a phase vs. line-line mix-up — and those errors are easy to miss by eye. A dedicated calculator keeps the formula, the convention and the unit all in view at once.
Explicit units
Every input and result shows its unit — no guessing whether a value is in mH or H, RPM or rad/s.
Explicit conventions
RMS vs. peak, phase vs. line-line, mechanical vs. electrical, poles vs. pole pairs — you select the convention, it's never assumed silently.
Deterministic formulas
Every calculator is a plain, documented formula. Same inputs, same outputs, every time — no black box.
Reproducible calculations
The formula, variables and assumptions are shown next to every result, so you (or a reviewer) can check the work by hand.
Engineering sanity checks
Warnings flag common motor-control pitfalls — saturating an ADC, an unstable current-loop bandwidth, Ld ≈ Lq — before they become field bugs.
